Vancouver is a fascinating city. With the fastest-growing rate of density in North America, the skyline has been reaching ever-higher in the past decade – while housing prices reach similarly astronomical rates. From public art to social housing, bike lanes to green buildings, this blog will probe how Vancouver is developing in relation to the changing role of the city in the 21st century.
I am a student journalist at the UBC Graduate School of Journalism, where I work as the Thunderbird.ca beat reporter for downtown. I also write a film column for the Capilano Courier.
